![]() ![]() Hey listen, i happen to have that exact same GPU…Well, i don’t know if it is or not- i’m just assuming. They set your GPU’s IO too low on it’s slot. Send it back to get it fixed, that's not right. And seriously, dont hold on to this system looking like this. I completely understand it's scary if you don't know what you're doing, but unless you're a complete bumblehead you won't break anything like this. Obviously make sure the PC is off before you do all of this, and for extra caution turn the switch on the back of your power supply (back, bottom of the case on the outside) off until you are done. Once you have inspected everything, you can push the GPU back into the slot and the clip will lock itself in place when it's all the way in you don't have to touch it again. Don't hold on to this and risk it breaking just after warranty because of the strain on the mobo, seriously. It may be difficult to push down given the angle, if you feel uncomfortable with it either check out a video or send it back if you think you're applying too much force. ![]() This is what helps lock it in place, all you have to do is push down on it until it clicks and then you should be able to remove the GPU. It may be difficult to see with that GPU angle, but on the right side of the slot that it sits in there should be a little plastic tab sticking out. 3 (and 4) The slot and the clip at the end of the slot. Simple Philips head removal and replacement when done. One of them also might be a 6 pin cable with an extra 2 pins dangling off to the side, this can be annoying but changes nothing just pay attention to the orientation (clips on top). I'm on mobile so can't look back ATM but there's either one or two cables, same diff. There should be a tab on the top that you press down and pull out to remove the cable. This is simple to remove and will not damage anything unless you throw the bitch or smth. There are three (technically 4) things holding it in the case. Dw it's not super scary, I'll detail how to take it out here and you can check out almost any PC build tutorial or just "how to install/remove GPU" on YouTube. It looks like it was screwed into the wrong spot, if it's causing strain on the mobo slot you'll really want to take a look at it. ![]()
